How do we heal? How do we talk to our young ones about Tragedy? How do we know that there is good in the world? Do we hug our children a little bit closer theses days and tell our loved ones that we Love them? What is the good in our land?

We still love in sorrow and in pain. We see and hear the heartbreak in the media and I think what can I do to bring the good in us. As Fred Rogers said ”Look for the Helpers”. Who are the helpers in tragedy? Law enforcement are the usually the first to respond to the scene. EMTs. People are scared that if they send their kids to school they should get them back at the end of the day all in one piece.

Tragedy is not new. Some of us have friends and family that took their lives to serve our country in times of tragedy. They are the helpers that give their loves to save us. What about all the frontline workers in the hospitals over the past 2+ years. They are truly our America’s Helpers.
