True friendship is someone you trust and they will always be there for you when you need them. They can be your neighbors, relatives and friends. For better or worse they will alway be there for you.
I meet Joyce Mallery who is now a great friend and mentor. I met her at community college in 2010. She tutored me in my graphic design classes and helped me understand what I wanted to major in. I ended up majoring in Photography with my A.A.S. in 2016. We did an internship together in the print shop on campus fall semester 2010. We worked on print projects for the secondary school and help college students get their portfolios ready for their portfolio show. We became such great friends and still stay connected to this day.
We try to get together for dinner on a regular basis. She has always been there for me when I needed her. I will call and check in with her regularly. What is true friendship? Will they be there for you for better or worse? They care about how you and your family are doing.
As Fred Rogers 1828-2003 said at the end of every episode for 30 years:
“You Make this day a Special Day by just your being you. There is only 1 person in the whole wide world and that is your yourself” That is True friendship.
